I loved using it for making pie crust, etc. I'm not sure I would clear coat it if you lot intend to utilize it for nutrient prep. I just used mine, washed it off and never thought twice. I've never washed anything special to it; just wiped information technology downwardly when it needed it. I did in one case use white enamel paint (the kind you lot detect in hobby shops) to gear up a little nick in the top. Mine is white with a red lattice-blazon design on elevation and cherry edges. Mine is white top with black edges and wooden legs with two drawers - I establish mine on craigs listing for $50. I love it was only worried about wear and tear every bit were using it every bit a kitchen table. It is absolutely PERFECT for my kitchen! As soon as I can figure out how to put pics on my new figurer I volition post pics - would love to meet yalls. I also have an enameled topped cabinet in my kitchen every bit well! I just adore them! I will try the lemon juice trick for the few stains and then leave it alone!
